Today I have the pleasure of introducing Jessie to you. What a beautiful soul!

Andrea had spoken to her to help her prepare for the session in days leading up to her shoot. I met her for the first time during hair and make up. That's when she shared her life story with me and I was gripped at how a beautiful girl at such an early age had already gone through so much. You would never know it by her gorgeous smile but she has a lot on her plate. Jessie has been dealing with certain physical issues that have made it difficult to go through a day without much discomfort.

Jessie shared with me how she often feels bad and that, today, just for once she wanted to feel good about herself. I can't tell you the tremendous responsibility I felt in that moment to capture her in the most beautiful way possible. I believe the images that we created speak for themselves and we all truly had a great time creating them!

Q| How did you feel in the moments leading up to your boudoir session?

J| Basically a feeling of now or never! I felt pretty extremely nervous! Like most girls, I was extremely self-conscious. I wanted to push myself over that boundary I had up for so long. I felt that I owed this to myself after years of dealing with chronic pain. I wanted to feel beautiful again! This whole thing is for my boyfriend, but also for me as well. And to capture my youth when I could! Finally, I can check it off on my bucket list!

J| Powerful. Feminine. Strong.

Q| How did you feel in the moments after your session?

J| After my session, I felt this huge weight off of my shoulders. I couldn't stop smiling driving home. I was extremely proud of myself that I did such a bold thing. To put myself out there to be comfortable in my own skin.

Q| Please use 3 words to describe how you felt when you saw your images:

J| Speechless. Surprised. Emotional.

Q| What would you say to someone who is considering doing a shoot with Boudoir Studio 6201?

J| I already put a good word out for you guys! I told them that you guys are so professional, had high energy, patience, and are non-judgmental. You guys made me feel so at ease, by the middle of the shoot I felt like I was a professional model!
