It is an honor to introduce a local small business owner to you, who is so near and dear to our hearts: Tiffany of Tiffany Loveless Makeup Artistry.

Along with being an amazing local business owner she also happens to be a part of our very own glam squad and we couldn’t be happier featuring her business on our blog.

Tiffany absolutely loves being an artist and cherishes the opportunity to enhance the beauty you already possess.

“Makeup is not about vanity or ‘hiding,’ but rather a catalyst that encourages us to let our inner beauty shine.”

“ My name is Tiffany Miller, and I am the lead makeup artist of Tiffany Loveless Makeup Artistry. I do makeup and occasionally do hair as well. I am a licensed cosmetologist here in New York State.”

Q. How has COVID-19 impacted your business?

“Because I am a makeup artist and I work in close proximity with other people, I am not working at this time which has been unsettling. I don’t have an income to help support my family. I am used to being really busy which has been hard for me because I am so active. I miss all my clients and being creative with makeup. I think the most heartbreaking of all has been my guests… I think about them a lot. My brides have had to change their wedding dates, my seniors this year have had all their proms postponed and may be canceled. All of these very important moments in people’s lives that I am so honored to be a part of are being postponed and/or canceled. My heart goes out to all of you and I really can’t wait to hug all of you sometime soon!”

Q. How are you responding to COVID-19 as a business?

“ I am trying to do my part by being positive and looking ahead. I’ve taken this time to reorganize my studio in here. I have finally retiled one of my walls here which I have waiting for years to do. I’ve been working on some projects to make this a more efficient space for me. I have also been taking the time to reach out to all of my currently booked guests to see how I can help, if at all.”

Q. What will your business be like post COVID-19?

[youtube=://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifF47ojBRHM&w=640&h=480]

“Once the dust settles, I will hopefully be able to pick up where I left off creating with makeup and hair. I am not sure what that’s going to look like. I don’t know if that will be something that I can just jump right back into. With the work I do… it may just take a little bit more time. This is because I work in such close proximity to clients. I am looking forward to getting back to my photoshoots and editorials, jumping into the bridal season, senior portraits and things like that. Hopefully, you’ll be seeing a lot more of me running around Rochester!”

Q. How are you contributing positivity during COVID-19?

[youtube=://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LO6cQuNiIJM&w=640&h=480]

“ I am contributing positivity by checking in on my guests with emails and making phone calls to family and friends. I am very lucky that I have amazing neighbors next door, my studio faces their home. I am planning on doing a “joke a day” to put in my window that faces their home. That's my plan for a while here until things slow down. Any of my clients who needed rescheduling for makeup, I’ve been sure to work very closely with them and making sure that they are in good hands. I’ve reassured those guests that there will be more opportunities for us to work with them in the future. On Instagram, I’ve been trying to post photos up that are inspiring.”
